The Easter Bunny Came!

Happy Easter!

Not much to report. We went to church this morning, had lunch and came home. Ethan enjoyed opening his Easter basket and his "weed wacker." He's outside with Chris (goggles on and all!) pretending to cut the grass. Hope everyone had a nice Easter!

Ethan can be SO MEAN sometimes!

Here are the kids "reading to each other." The video explains itself. Emerson is okay, by the way. We are really having some behavior/listening issues with Ethan lately, as you can see. Please pray for him and us!

Easter Eggstravaganza!

I took Ethan and Emerson to the Easter Eggstravaganza at the local childrens museum, Exploration Station on Saturday. He really enjoyed looking for easter eggs with my friend Stacie's little girl, Jacie. She was a lot of help! He would not sit on the Easter Bunny's lap, but you can guess who did sit on it! Emerson was very curious about all of that fur! The other photos are of my mom reading Ethan a bedtime story. I have more photos and will create a web album when my sister and I actually have the same free moments so that she can show me how to do it.

Just crawling around!

Silly boy!

Yes, this is Moufet trying to warm up under the freshly dried clothes!

Here's another evening at the Moore home. Sorry that I am the worst videographer EVER!

My little elephant!

Ethan's weekday school put on a circus today. It was so cute! Each class put on a little "skit" or two. As you can see, they were elephants. I didn't get a picture of him in his entire outfit, but you can somewhat see it in the video. Also, the little girl beside Ethan is his friend, Anna. It seems they are very fond of each other. She told her daddy this morning that if he came to the circus today, he'd get to meet Ethan! I asked her dad if he met the famous Ethan! I didn't get my camera turned on in time, but at one point she had her arm around him! Uh-oh! Enjoy!

This is totally unrelated, but blog worthy none the less. We have always said the "Now I lay me down to sleep..." etc. prayer at bedtime with Ethan. Well, last night I decided to add to it with "God bless Mommy, God bless Daddy, God bless Emerson" etc. After naming a bunch of people, I asked Ethan who he wanted God to bless. He said, "God bless Drew, God bless Mandy, God bless Pepe, God bless Pepe's toys at his work..." It was hilarious! For those of you who know Mandy and Heath, you know that they are like second parents to our kids. However, he has not been to Heaths work (which has a play section) in months and months! Where he came up with that, who knows!

An evening at the Moore home...

This is just a basic evening at home for us. We read to Ethan and then he reads back to us "all by himself"! Mr. Independent! You can't hear Ethan very well because he's just reading his bible by the pictures, of course, and Chris is in the background vacuum sealing some meat. He loves that thing. I asked him to seal some of my roasts and when he was finished he was asking for more stuff to seal. Emerson is doing her usual...pulling up on my leg.

GREAT!

GREAT! Emerson can now pull herself up in her crib and stare at us! Time to lower the mattress...again (which we did tonight, so we'll see how it goes)! Last night was very eventful with her staring and screaming at us for, oh, about an hour and a half! I am trying not to pick her up every time she cries, but it's not very easy. I changed her, put her back in her crib, gave her some ora-jel, put her back in her crib, fed her (which I shouldn't have to do at this age), put her back in her crib and finally...some sleep for all of us! Maybe the circus was too much for her. This video is of naptime this afternoon. Anywho...enjoy!

She's standing!

Here's Emerson standing. She thinks she's such a big shot!

Sunday at the Circus!

We took the kids to the circus today. Ethan really enjoyed it. Emerson slept through most of it. How, I don't know! Thankfully, she is very good at staying on her schedule. Here are a few pictures and a video of Ethan and Emerson at intermission.
