Feeding the fish...and turtle!

We took the kids to the lake down the road for what has become our evening walk and fish feeding. We had a nice surprise and saw a turtle. Ethan wasn't extremely impressed! I have always taught him to try and feed the baby fish as well as the big guys, so he was busy doing that instead. Emerson just wanted to get out of her car the whole time and go in the lake! Our kids are definitely water babies! Things have been pretty uneventful around here or rather, not worthy of mentioning. Although, Ethan flipped his chair backwards at dinner and messed up my wall. You can't see it unless you look hard and he was okay. More pictures in the web album.

Ethan graduated!

Ethan's equivalent to a graduation was last night. He did very well, although both he and Emerson have runny noses. We hate sinus problems! I have some pictures in the web album as well as a video of his evening. I also took a video of Emerson this morning reading books and walking around.

She's on the move!

Here's a video of Ethan's latest face dive and Emerson walking. Ethan was putting his toys away in the garage last night and fell flat on his face in the driveway. He started crying and the first thing he said was, "I don't want to go to the hospital!!" With all of these accidents, we're going to be turned over to Social Services!

Stair climber!

Emerson has been mastering the art of climbing the stairs lately. Our gate doesn't work at our stairs, so we're constantly pulling her off of the stairs. The video doesn't give her speed justice. Ethan is usually my little watch dog and yells to me if I'm not in the room when she starts climbing the stairs. We definitely need a new gate!

I'm not sure if Chris' Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Brenda Howell look at my blog, but I took some pictures of Emerson in the dress that they bought her when she was born. HAWAII!!

We're baaaccckkkkk! We had a nice time in Hawaii, although the jet lag is still with us. The kids really enjoyed being with their cousins. Ethan keeps asking to go back to Hawaii to be with Logan and Tyler. It's so sad that we won't see any of them for over another year. At least when we see them again, we will hopefully all be in the same time zone. I have uploaded tons of pictures in the web album, titled 5-7-08. I also loaded all of Amy's photos, titled 5-9-08, on my laptop, so hers are in there as well.
